Azerbaijan, Georgia Strengthen Financial Cooperation with New Memorandum of Understanding

Chairperson of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov met with a Georgian delegation led by Natia Turnava, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of cooperation between the two institutions and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

To further strengthen the collaboration, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a crucial step in enhancing the partnership between the central banks and reinforcing the financial sectors of both countries.

The document also envisages exchange of experience and information, conduct of trainings and joint seminars, and organization of research and study visits to provide technical advice.
