Azerbaijan Produces Nearly 14 Million Tons of Oil in H1 2025

Azerbaijan produced 13.7 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January-June 2025, marking a 4.86 percent decrease compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Energy.

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 8 million tons of oil production, Shah Deniz for 1.9 million tons of condensate, and Absheron for 0.3 million tons of condensate. SOCAR’s oil output amounted to 3.5 million tons (including condensate), The Caspian Post reports.

The volume of exported oil, including condensate, reached 11.6 million tons, marking a 2.52 percent decrease. Of this, the consortium accounted for 9.9 million tons, SOCAR for 1.4 million tons, and Absheron for 0.3 million tons.

During the first half of 2025, average daily oil production (including condensate) was 61,900 tons (457,000 barrels), of which 13,700 tons (113,000 barrels) were condensate. In total, average daily oil production was 75,600 tons (570,000 barrels).

During the reporting period, oil refining decreased by 9.38 percent, totaling 2.9 million tons.
