The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), in partnership with China Travel Group (CTG), held a series of tourism workshops in the Chinese cities of Jinan, Shijiazhuang, and Taiyuan.
The events gathered over 300 representatives from China’s tourism sector, providing a platform for industry professionals to engage and exchange insights, The Caspian Post reports, citing the ATB.
During the workshops, presentations focused on strengthening tourism cooperation between China and Azerbaijan.
Participants received detailed information about Azerbaijan’s tourism offerings tailored to the Chinese market, including the country’s cultural and historical heritage and its key travel routes.
As a result of growing cooperation, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Azerbaijan reached 60,636 by November 2025, representing a significant increase of 43.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
