Arkady Volozh, the founder and former chief executive of Russian technology company Yandex, has renounced his Russian citizenship, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The source said that the billionaire received official confirmation this week that he is no longer a Russian national, The Caspian Post reports, citing Bloomberg.

Volozh holds Israeli citizenship and has lived in Israel for more than ten years.
