“A Handful of World” documentary was presented at the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum pavilion at the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku.
The documentary, created by the Azerbaijan Journalists Network, highlights the environmental destruction caused by Armenia during its occupation of Karabakh and East Zangazur, The Caspian Post reports.
The film was directed by journalist Ayaz Mirzayev and focuses on the ecocide committed by Armenia in these regions. Representatives from the Agency for State Support to NGOs, the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum, and various other attendees, including Charlene Ruto, founder of the Kenyan SMACHS Foundation, participated in the event.
Following the screening of the film in English, a public discussion was held, offering attendees a platform to engage with the content of the documentary. A broader presentation of the film is planned for the near future.
