A pavilion representing the Kyrgyz Republic was launched at the World Travel Market (WTM), one of the largest international tourism exhibitions, in London, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in WTM is aimed at attracting the attention of the global tourism industry to the unique cultural and natural wealth of the country, as well as strengthening cooperation with international tourism companies and investors, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.
The Kyrgyzstan’s pavilion presented key areas of greatest interest to international tourists: ecotourism, cultural heritage, active recreation, gastronomic tourism and ethnic tours. Visitors of the exhibition got acquainted with unique tourism offers, receiving information about the famous Issyk-Kul and Son-Kul lakes, the majestic mountain ranges of the Tien Shan, ancient cultural monuments and the hospitality traditions of the Kyrgyz people.
New tourist routes and events to develop cooperation with international partners were presented in London. The pavilion featured national companies offering a variety of tourist products, from mountain hikes and camping to excursions to cultural attractions.
