Polish President Duda Visits Armenia for High-Level Talks

Poland and Armenia established diplomatic relations on February 26, 1992, with formal procedures completed by November of the same year.

Polish President Andrzej Duda has arrived in Armenia for an official visit, where he is set to hold discussions with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, followed by delegation-level negotiations.

During his visit, President Duda will also meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

Poland and Armenia established diplomatic relations on February 26, 1992, with formal procedures completed by November of the same year. The Armenian Embassy in Warsaw was inaugurated on April 6, 1998, while the Polish Embassy in Yerevan opened on February 28, 2000.

The first high-level official visit from Poland to Armenia took place in November 2001 when Polish President Aleksander Kwaśniewski met with Armenian President Robert Kocharyan. Since then, the two countries have maintained smooth political cooperation.
