Turkish and Russian Presidents Discuss Recent Developments in Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the latest developments in Syria during a phone call.

During the call, Erdogan affirmed Turkiye's support for the unity of Syrian territory and its efforts to reach a just and lasting solution in Syria.

He explained that the most important issue in the context of the recent developments in Syria is the need to protect civilians.

The two presidents also discussed strengthening bilateral relations, in addition to international and regional issues.
