Chairman of the Management Board of KazMunayGas (KMG) Askhat Khassenov met with ExxonMobil Upstream President Dan Ammann in Astana to discuss prospects for further cooperation between the two companies.

During the meeting, the sides reviewed the progress of major joint projects, including the Tengiz and North Caspian developments, The Caspian Post reports, citing KMG.

The discussions also covered investment opportunities, cooperation in geological exploration, the introduction of advanced technologies, and efforts to improve operational efficiency in the oil and gas sector.

Following the talks, both parties confirmed their commitment to further strengthening their strategic partnership in areas of mutual interest.
