Eric Trump, son of US President Donald Trump and executive vice president of The Trump Organization, is expected in Georgia’s capital next week to attend the official presentation of Trump Tower Tbilisi.

The high-profile event is expected to attract investors and international guests, with the invitation-only gala reportedly costing more than $1 million, according to News Georgia.

Trump Tower is planned as the centerpiece of The Downtown Tbilisi, a major development that envisions six skyscrapers on the site of a former hippodrome. The tower is expected to rise about 259 meters and have up to 70 floors.

If completed as planned, Trump Tower Tbilisi would become the tallest building in Georgia.

The overall investment in the development is estimated at around $2 billion, while direct construction costs for a single tower are expected to exceed $200 million.

Apartment prices are also set to target the luxury market. Initial sales are expected to start at around $7,000-$10,000 per square meter, with prices potentially reaching $15,000 per square meter on the upper floors.

The project is primarily aimed at wealthy international buyers, expatriates and diplomats. Initial inquiries have reportedly already come from Dubai, while sales efforts are also expected to focus heavily on the Israeli market.

International architecture and design firm Gensler is working on the tower’s design. The general contractor is likely to be selected from among major construction companies from Türkiye or Azerbaijan, while Georgian partners include Archi Group and INVIA/Biograpi Living.

The agreement with The Trump Organization was signed in May following a meeting between Georgian investors and Eric Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

The planned tower is set to become one of the most prominent additions to Tbilisi’s skyline, combining the Trump brand with a large-scale luxury real estate development in the Georgian capital.
