Maka Bochorishvili, Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, emphasized the significance of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku for Georgia, commenting on Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's attendance at the event in Azerbaijan.
Bochorishvili explained that the forum is held with the participation of world leaders and representatives of international organizations, making it a valuable platform for highlighting issues important to Georgia, The Caspian Post reports, citing Report.
She added that the participation of the Georgian delegation allows the country not only to voice its positions but also to hold bilateral meetings with partner states: "The Prime Minister's participation gives us the opportunity both to express Georgia's positions within the forum and to conduct bilateral meetings."
The minister emphasized that Azerbaijan is a key partner for Georgia, and that maintaining a constant dialogue across priority areas carries special significance for both countries.
