The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations) has reported an incident in the Strait of Hormuz involving a cargo vessel that was struck by an unknown projectile, The Caspian Post informs, citing Al Jazeera.

UKMTO said it received a report from a verified source indicating that a commercial ship was hit while transiting the key shipping route.
