Iran’s army is prepared to offer financial rewards of up to $40,000 to Iranian women who capture a US military serviceman in the event of a ground invasion of Iran, Iranian Army representative General Mohammad Akraminia said.
Akraminia said anyone who captures or provides the body of a US soldier who enters Iranian territory would receive a reward of 50 billion rials, equivalent to about $20,000, according to SNN.
He said the reward would be doubled to 100 billion rials, or approximately $40,000, if the action were carried out by a woman.
Akraminia also said Iran could consider offering financial rewards to residents of other countries in the region for similar actions.
The comments were framed around a hypothetical scenario involving a US ground invasion of Iranian territory.
