Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has departed for Paris to hold discussions with his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot.
The visit follows his participation in the Thirtieth Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CSP-30) in The Hague, Netherlands, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.
Earlier on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei declared Araghchi’s visit to France at the invitation of his French counterpart.
During this trip to Paris, Araghchi is expected to discuss various bilateral issues, including the situation of Iranian citizen Mahdieh Esfandiari, as well as regional and international developments.
