Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Islamabad on an official visit aimed at strengthening ties with Pakistan and advancing regional diplomacy.

One of the main objectives of the visit is to express gratitude to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his role in mediating between Iran and the US, The Caspian Post reports via polites news.

The trip also includes high-level consultations between officials from both countries, discussions on expanding bilateral cooperation, and an exchange of views on regional and international issues.
