Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the arrest of nearly 240 individuals in security operations carried out across two provinces, Kurdistan and Kermanshah, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.
In Kurdistan province, the IRGC said it detained 11 people and also killed one member of a Kurdish armed group during the operations.
Authorities additionally reported the seizure of a cache of weapons and ammunition.
In separate raids in the same province, nearly 70 more individuals were also arrested.
