Israel has issued a warning about a potential military strike near Iran's Tehran University, where annual demonstrations are being held to mark Al-Quds Day.

The alert specifically mentions Enghelab Street, close to the university, currently crowded with demonstrators. The warning, issued in Farsi, states that Israeli forces “will conduct operations in this area in the coming hours”, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

Authorities urged civilians:

"We strongly advise you to evacuate the marked area immediately. Your presence in these locations endangers your life."
