Armenian PM: Kazakhstan Shows Strong Interest in TRIPP Transport Corridor

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Kazakhstan openly expressed growing interest in the ambitious Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) transport project.

Speaking to media, Pashinyan noted that since the August summit in Washington, Kazakhstan has been actively exploring the potential of the emerging international connectivity corridor, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.

He noted that the project could open up new transport routes, especially significant for Kazakhstan as a major player in global logistics - particularly in cargo flows to and from China.

Pashinyan said that Kazakh partners are seeking a deeper understanding of the opportunities the TRIPP project could offer, including expanded transit potential and access to new markets.

Importantly, Kazakhstan is not alone - multiple countries are showing interest in the initiative, with discussions taking place in an open and transparent format.

Addressing speculation, Pashinyan stressed that all discussions, including those related to railway connections, are being conducted publicly and not behind the back of Russia.

With its strategic location and growing transit capacity, Kazakhstan is positioning itself as a central hub in evolving Eurasian transport networks.
