A Belarusian delegation took part in the international technology forum Digital Bridge 2025, which gathered leaders of the digital industry, investors, and experts from over 100 countries in Astana, The Caspian Post informs via BelTA. Among the honorary guests attending the opening ceremony was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov. His participation underscored Belarus' interest in developing international digital cooperation and engaging in key regional initiatives in innovation and high technology. Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a welcome address at the forum's plenary session, highlighting the importance of the responsible development of artificial intelligence and the forum's role as an international platform for exchanging cutting-edge ideas. In turn, the forum's guest of honor, Telegram founder Pavel Durov, announced the opening of a Telegram AI laboratory in Kazakhstan as part of the international AI center Alem.ai. Belarus’ participation in Digital Bridge 2025 demonstrates Belarus' commitment to actively engaging in global digital transformation processes and strengthening bilateral cooperation in IT and innovation. The digital forum brought together scientists, entrepreneurs, government officials, and key figures from the global IT industry. In the run-up to the forum, the president of Kazakhstan held a meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Development Council, titled “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Opportunities and Challenges”.
