Chinese President Xi Jinping has held talks with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Shanghai, where the Kazakh leader is attending the World Artificial Intelligence (AI) Conference.

The meeting took place at the Xijiao Hotel in Shanghai during Tokayev's working visit to China, The Caspian Post reports via Xinhua.

Tokayev arrived in Shanghai at the invitation of Xi Jinping to participate in the global AI forum and hold meetings with Chinese leaders and business executives aimed at expanding bilateral economic and technological cooperation.
