A gas cylinder explosion at a food stall inside Sapa Market in Astana, Kazakhstan, left four people injured.
The blast occurred in a shop where tandoor samsa was being prepared. Police received an emergency call at 8:55 a.m. (GMT+5), with preliminary findings indicating that a 50-liter gas cylinder exploded inside the premises, The Caspian Post reports via Tengrinews.kz.
The explosion partially collapsed the ceiling and doorway of the shop and also damaged a nearby Toyota parked outside.
The injured were taken to hospital and include two Uzbek nationals, aged 41 and 19, who were inside the shop at the time of the blast, as well as two Kazakh citizens-a 16-year-old teenager and a 27-year-old man.
