Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Shanghai on a working visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

On July 16, President Tokayev is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to discuss issues of mutual interest and further cooperation between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports, citing Qazinform.

As part of the visit, the Kazakh leader will also take part in a roundtable meeting with executives from leading Chinese companies.

On July 17, Tokayev will participate in the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), which is being held this year under the theme “AI Partnership for a Better Future.”
