Kazakh President Congratulates Azerbaijani Counterpart on Victory Day

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Victory.

"Please accept my sincere congratulations on the significant national holiday of your country - Victory Day! This memorable date holds a special place in the modern history of Azerbaijan. It symbolizes the unshakable will of the Azerbaijani people for justice, peace, and unity, and reaffirms their steadfast commitment to the principles of sovereignty and independence," President Tokayev wrote, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

"Thanks to your wise and authoritative leadership and the strong support of the Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijan, in accordance with the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and international law, restored its territorial integrity and opened a new chapter in its statehood marked by sustainable and creative progress. Your policy aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus has rightfully gained broad international support, creating favorable conditions for long-term cooperation, mutual trust, and steady development throughout the region," the Kazakh leader noted.

"On this occasion, I am pleased to note the dynamic development of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and alliance. I highly appreciate your significant personal contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the spirit of friendship and good neighborliness. I wish you boundless energy and new achievements for the benefit of brotherly Azerbaijan," President Tokayev added.
