Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev met with Croatian Ambassador Refik Šabanović on Tuesday.
During the talks, the two sides reviewed a broad range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and developing cultural and educational ties, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Special attention was given to the implementation of economic and investment projects, as well as to enhancing cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, which was described as a key factor in boosting mutual trade and reinforcing business links.
Both sides expressed readiness to continue close cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They also discussed the schedule of bilateral events for 2026, including preparations for high-level and top-level visits. In particular, the importance of organizing a visit by the Prime Minister of Croatia to Astana was highlighted as a step that could give additional momentum to bilateral relations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining substantive dialogue and further deepening comprehensive cooperation between Astana and Zagreb.
