Kazakhstan’s constitutional transformation has entered a decisive new phase.
The Constitutional Reform Commission has officially published the draft of the country’s new Constitution, opening the document to public scrutiny ahead of a nationwide vote, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
The release comes just days after President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree on February 11, 2026, scheduling a nationwide referendum for March 15, 2026. The upcoming vote will determine whether the proposed constitutional changes are adopted, marking one of the most significant political milestones in recent years.
