Kazakhstan’s Oil Shipments via BTC Pipeline Rise 12%

The volume of Kazakh oil transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline increased by 12% in the first eight months of 2026 compared with the same period last year, exceeding 1 million tons, Kazakhstan’s national oil pipeline operator KazTransOil said.

The company also reported higher shipments through the Batumi Oil Terminal, a subsidiary of KazTransOil, according to Sputnik Georgia.

From January through August 2026, the total volume of Kazakh oil, petroleum products and liquefied gas transiting through Batumi reached 1.251 million tons, up 3% from the corresponding period in 2025.
