A two-seat private aircraft flying from Batumi, Georgia, to Ordu-Giresun Airport in Türkiye made an emergency landing in the sea off the coast of Pazar district in Rize province.
According to preliminary information, the aircraft was forced to land due to a technical malfunction. Turkish Coast Guard teams were dispatched to the area after an emergency signal was received, according to TRT Haber.

Rescuers successfully evacuated two people on board. As a precaution, both were taken to Kaçkar State Hospital for medical evaluation.
