Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates held high-level discussions in Abu Dhabi to further deepen investment cooperation.
The meeting brought together Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Rauan Zhumabek, and UAE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, Mohammed Al Hawi, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
A central topic was the implementation of investment projects agreed upon during earlier high-level visits this year-President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s trip to Abu Dhabi in January and the official visit of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Astana. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to timely and full execution of these strategically important agreements.
The talks also addressed strategies to attract investment in line with modern global trends, emphasizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and advanced trade infrastructure and logistics. Officials highlighted the need to create favorable conditions for investors in these key sectors.
Delegates additionally reviewed ongoing investment projects in both countries and explored new avenues for expanding mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
