Travel between Tashkent, Uzbekistan and Astana, Kazakhstan is set to become easier with the launch of regular passenger flights operated by Centrum Air.
The new Tashkent-Astana-Tashkent route will begin on March 29, 2026, as part of the summer flight schedule. Flights will run three times a week - on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays - aboard modern Airbus A320 aircraft, with a flight time of approximately two hours, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Round-trip fares start from KZT 85,000 ($170.10) without checked baggage.
The new route is expected to strengthen transport links between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, boosting business, tourism, and family travel between the two countries.
Earlier, Lufthansa also announced it would resume regular flights from Frankfurt am Main to Almaty and Astana starting March 29, further expanding air connectivity in the region.
