Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Sign 2026–2027 Foreign Policy Cooperation Program

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has held talks with his Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev, who visited Tashkent on an official visit.

The two ministers signed a 2026-2027 Cooperation Program between their foreign ministries, The Caspian Post reports.

Saidov described the meeting as focused and substantive, covering key areas of bilateral and multilateral collaboration. Both sides highlighted the strong momentum of ongoing contacts and the significant potential to expand trade, economic, and transport-logistics cooperation.

The Uzbek foreign minister emphasized that the countries’ partnership has reached an unprecedented level thanks to the political will of their leaders. “It is a sincere joy for us to welcome our Kazakh brothers on Uzbek soil,” Saidov wrote.
