Euronews May Become Kyrgyzstan’s Window to World

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev has met with Euronews President Pedro Vargas David to discuss long-term media cooperation and promoting Kyrgyzstan on the international stage.

Kasymaliev highlighted Euronews as a leading global media outlet shaping international narratives and emphasized Kyrgyzstan’s interest in broader, more objective coverage of national developments, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The talks focused on media support for major upcoming events in the country, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the 2026 World Nomad Games. The year also marks Kyrgyzstan’s 35th anniversary of independence.

Pedro Vargas David, visiting Kyrgyzstan for the first time, expressed strong interest in partnership, stating that Euronews is ready to serve as a platform to showcase Kyrgyzstan globally.

Both sides confirmed their commitment to deepen collaboration and strengthen media ties.
