Kyrgyz Athlete Wins Silver at US Pro Swim Series

Kyrgyz athlete Denis Petrashov continues impressing on the international stage, adding another medal to his tally at the Pro Swim Series tournament in the US.

Competing in the men’s 200-meter breaststroke in Austin, Petrashov confidently advanced to the final heat and finished second overall, securing the silver medal, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The Kyrgyz swimmer was edged out only by France’s Leon Marchand, a four-time Olympic champion and seven-time world champion.

The result marks Petrashov’s third medal at the prestigious Pro Swim Series event. Earlier in the competition, he also claimed silver medals in the 100-meter and 50-meter breaststroke, underlining his strong form and consistency against some of the world’s top swimmers.
