Construction of an Alternative Road to The Airport Near Bishkek is Under Consideration

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev inspected the project for constructing an alternative road to Manas International Airport on January 17, The Caspian Post reports, citing AkiPress.

Transport Minister Absattar Syrgabaev and department representatives provided information on the project's goals, technical features, and implementation stages.

The project is planned for a 17-kilometer, four-lane road. The section will begin at the intersection of Bishkek's Northern Bypass Road and Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard. The project includes a two-level interchange, lighting, and landscaping.

It is noted that research and design work is planned for the future.

In addition, in the Chui region, the construction of a two-lane road and a bridge 8.7 km long along the route from the village of Mramornoye to the village of Vinogradnoye is being considered.
