A Kyrgyz dance duo has brought home a stunning victory, capturing gold at one of Europe’s most prestigious international ballroom dance tournaments under the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF).
The annual international sports ballroom dance tournament under the auspices of the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) took place in Pontault-Combault, a picturesque town near Paris, France, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The event gathered Europe’s best dancers from France, Italy, Romania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, and beyond.
Representing Kyrgyzstan, the talented duo Vladimir Vyrleev and Maria Proshletsova dazzled the judges and audience alike in the WDSF Open - Adults, Latin under 21 category. Their outstanding performance earned them first place and gold medals, marking a proud victory for Kyrgyzstan on the international stage.
The pair also impressed in the WDSF International Open - Adults, Latin competition, where they reached the final round and placed fourth among 31 competing pairs from around the world - a result that highlights their exceptional preparation and artistry.
