Kyrgyzstan’s judo team has claimed a bronze medal in the mixed team competition at the ongoing 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, defeating rivals from Kazakhstan.
The latest win adds to Kyrgyzstan’s growing medal tally. Earlier, judokas Zhanar Zholdosheva (under 57 kg) and Adina Kochkonbaeva (under 63 kg) both captured silver medals, while boxer Nuradin Rustambek uulu also earned a silver in his category, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The Games, running from November 7 to 21, feature 19 sports, including three Paralympic disciplines. Kyrgyzstan has sent a 90-athlete delegation, continuing to deliver strong performances on the international stage.
