Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev has had a phone talk with Yermek Kosherbaev, the newly appointed foreign minister of Kazakhstan, marking their first official contact since Kosherbaev’s recent appointment.
The two ministers discussed the current status of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the neighboring countries. They emphasized the importance of expanding ties in political, economic, and regional domains, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
Kulubaev and Kosherbaev also exchanged views on major regional developments and key international issues, highlighting the value of continued coordination and collaboration through multilateral platforms.
During the call, Kulubaev congratulated his Kazakh counterpart on his new role and wished him success in his diplomatic responsibilities.
The conversation underscored the close and constructive partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as their shared goal of promoting stability, security, and sustainable development across Central Asia.
