Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan are poised to boost bilateral trade, with officials projecting that the volume could reach $200 million in the coming years.
During his state visit to Pakistan, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss strengthening the Kyrgyzstan-Pakistan relations, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The talks covered politics, economy, energy, transport, and cultural cooperation, marking the first high-level visit in 20 years.
The sides emphasized expanding trade, regional infrastructure projects, and access to Pakistan’s seaports, while expressing commitment to a strategic partnership between the two nations.
