Azerbaijan Briefs NATO on its Succesful Reforms in Military Education

On December 13, Major General Gunduz Abdulov, Rector of the Azerbaijan National Defense University, met with a delegation led by Lieutenant General Max A.L.T. Nielsen, Commandant of the NATO Defense College (NDC), who is visiting Baku.

The NATO Defense College delegation was briefed on the history, education system, and key areas of activity of the National Defense University, The Caspian Post reports, citing the country"s Defense Ministry.

They were also provided with detailed information on the successful reforms implemented in the Azerbaijani Army"s military education sector and their positive results.

During the meeting, a broad exchange of views took place on issues of mutual interest in military education. The importance of further expanding the progress made in this field and implementing joint projects was emphasized.
