"An effective political and economic dialogue has already been established between Azerbaijan and the UAE. Masdar has done significant work in the field of alternative and renewable energy in Azerbaijan. The company implemented the Garadagh solar power plant project, and this is one of the significant projects for Azerbaijan's energy supply," he said.
Hajiyev added that Azerbaijan is implementing important energy projects and will be a key focus in the future, not only as an oil and gas producer but also as an exporter of clean energy to the European market.
He emphasized that the signing of 14 documents during the recent visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan will give new impetus to the expansion of ties between the countries.
