Farms of all categories in Tajikistan increased agricultural production by 10.9% in comparable prices, reaching approximately 60.878 billion somoni in January-October 2024, according to the Khovar National Information Agency, citing data from the presidential Statistics Agency, The Caspian Post reports citing Interfax International.

Crop production particularly rose 12.6% to around 45.125 billion somoni and livestock increased 6.2% to 15.753 billion somoni.

The share of public farms accounts for 12.5%, farms account for 41.8%, and personal subsidiary plots of the population account for 45.7% of the total output in the production structure.

The official exchange rate as on December 2, 2024, is 10.9 somoni/$1.
