US President Donald Trump said that he anticipates speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future, saying he hopes their conversation will “go good.”

Trump also said he expects to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this weekend, The Caspian Post reports, citing Politico.

“I think it’s going to go good with him (Volodymyr Zelensky). I think it’s going to go good with Putin,” the US president said, adding that he expects to talk with the Russian leader “soon, as much as I want.”

Earlier on Friday, Zelensky said he expects to address territorial issues during a meeting with Trump in Florida on December 28.
