Turkish, Russian Foreign Ministers Mull Syria Developments

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov discussed on Thursday developments in Syria over phone, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.

The conversation underlined the importance of cleansing Syria of terrorist organizations, the sources said, adding that establishing stability and security in the war-torn country was also highlighted, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkish media.

A new administration in Syria is in place after the fall of Bashar al-Assad regime last month.
