Turkish Airlines has hosted a tourism seminar in Brussels this week aimed at promoting Tajikistan as an emerging travel destination for European tourists.
The event was part of a broader initiative to enhance the visibility of Central Asia’s tourism offerings on the European market, The Caspian Post reports, citing Tajik media.
The seminar brought together representatives from European tour operators, diplomatic missions, and travel industry stakeholders to exchange ideas on how to effectively market the region’s unique cultural and natural attractions.
Among the participants were representatives from the Embassy of Tajikistan in Brussels, who presented the country’s diverse tourism potential - from its Silk Road heritage to its dramatic mountain landscapes - positioning Tajikistan as a compelling destination for adventure, cultural, and nature-based tourism.
Adem Kılıç, Director of Turkish Airlines in Tajikistan, reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to supporting tourism growth in the region.
“As the global airline with the most international destinations, Turkish Airlines plays a key role in connecting travelers to emerging destinations like Tajikistan,” said Kılıç. “Through our broad global network, we are working to spotlight the country’s hidden tourism gems across both European and American markets.”
He emphasized that Tajikistan offers a rich blend of untouched natural beauty, ancient history, and authentic traditions - qualities that appeal to modern travelers seeking off-the-beaten-path experiences.
“Tajikistan stands out as an unspoiled and culturally vibrant alternative for those seeking new travel horizons,” Kılıç added. “Turkish Airlines is proud to help build bridges between cultures and open doors to Central Asia’s most captivating destinations.”
