Iran has launched missile strikes on a US military base in Juffair, Bahrain, in what it described as retaliation for American actions in the region.
In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the base was targeted with “precision Iranian missiles” after what it called aggressive actions by “American terrorists” operating from the facility, The Caspian Post reports via IRGC.
According to the IRGC, the strike was a direct response to operations launched from the US base located in the Juffair area, a key military hub that hosts major American naval assets in the Persian Gulf region.
