A fire has erupted at the Elektrovypryamitel-ZSP factory in Saransk, Russia. The facility manufactures specialized power electronics, including rectifiers, inverters, power supplies and converters.

The plant’s products are used in various industrial sectors and are said to support Russia’s military-industrial complex, The Caspian Post reports, citing Ukrainian media.

Authorities have not yet provided details on the extent of the blaze or its possible impact on the factory’s production operations.
