Gunfight at Türkiye's Istanbul Currency Exchange Leaves Two Dead

A gunfight at a currency exchange office in Fatih district of Türkiye's Istanbul city has left two people dead and two others injured.

The shooting took place at a currency exchange office inside the Sofçuhan İş Hanı business center, according to DHA.

Initial reports indicate that the incident began with a financial dispute between a customer and the owner of the exchange office. The argument escalated before gunfire broke out.

Police detained one of the suspects following the incident. The two injured people were taken to hospital for treatment.
