Iranian President: Efforts to Disrupt Strong Ties with Azerbaijan Will Fail

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev in Tehran, emphasized that strengthening ties with Azerbaijan is a key priority in Iran's foreign policy.

According to the Iranian president, attempts by ill-wishers to hinder fruitful relations between the two countries will not succeed, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.

"We are interested in expanding these relations in all domains. There are no obstacles to the development of interaction and cooperation between the two countries," Pezeshkian noted.
