Russia's capital Moscow is set to experience unusually warm weather this weekend, with temperatures potentially approaching a record set more than a century ago.
Evgeny Tishkovets, a meteorologist at the Phobos weather center, said temperatures in the Russian capital could reach 11-14°C on October 24, with no precipitation expected, according to rbc.ru.
October 25 is forecast to be even warmer, with temperatures climbing to 15°C - around eight degrees above the seasonal average.
Tishkovets noted that the forecast could bring temperatures close to the October 25 record set in 1923, when Moscow reached 14.9°C.
If the forecast holds, the capital could see exceptionally mild weather for late October, according to the meteorologist.
