Today, a freight train carrying Russian grain left Bilajari railway station, situated in the suburbs of Baku, heading to Armenia through transit via Azerbaijan.
The train consists of seven wagons, with a total cargo weight of 488 tons of grain, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
The train will continue through Boyuk-Kasik station, after which it will cross the border with Georgia and proceed toward Armenia.
The previous similar shipment took place on February 4, when a train of eight wagons carrying 560 tons of Russian grain was sent to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
To date, more than 21,000 tons (302 wagons) of grain and 610 tons (9 wagons) of fertilizers have been sent from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.
