Turkish Grand Prix Set to Return to Formula 1 Calendar in 2027

The Turkish Grand Prix will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027, bringing F1 racing back to Istanbul Park after a six-year absence.

The race weekend is scheduled for October 1-3, 2027, according to the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED).

The event will take place at TOSFED Istanbul Park, with the weekend opening with practice sessions on Friday, October 1.

Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, while the main Turkish Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, October 3.

The return marks the revival of one of Formula 1’s previously established stops in Türkiye, which last hosted an F1 race in 2021.

TOSFED said fans can pre-register through the official event website to receive updates on ticket sales and other announcements ahead of the 2027 race.
